Expertise

I focus on advising in the area of new media and digitalisation. I am particularly interested in drafting and negotiating IT contracts (e.g. software contracts, development cooperations) and data protection law.

I also draft and review general terms and conditions on an ongoing basis, in particular for digital services (e.g. SaaS offers) and in the area of e-commerce (e.g. for online shops).

Another focus of my work is advising start-ups on the development and contractual design of innovative business models.

I also support many of our clients in the licence-compliant use of open source software.

• Studied law in Jena with a focus on German and European business law (best in the state of Thuringia in the examination round 2/2014).
