Benjamin Krahmer represents the interests of our clients in particular in the areas of intellectual property, e-commerce and reputation protection as well as in commercial and distribution law.
Benjamin Krahmer advises on the protection of trademarks and designs and accompanies their registration. Furthermore, he represents our clients‘ interests in opposition and cancellation proceedings before the respective offices (DPMA, EUIPO and WIPO) and ensures the defence or enforcement of their IP rights, out of court and in court. One of Benjamin Krahmer’s main areas of practice is the defence against claims under competition law and their enforcement. He also examines advertising and other marketing activities from a competition law perspective.
Benjamin Krahmer assists artists and agencies with copyright issues.
In the field of e-commerce, Benjamin Krahmer advises companies on the legally compliant design of websites and online shops and drafts the necessary legal texts (e.g. general terms and conditions, terms of use, privacy policies, customer information and imprints).
Another focus is reputation protection. Here, Benjamin Krahmer defends the good reputation of personalities and companies against infringements of general personal rights (including the right to one’s own image) in the media, press, online forums or rating portals. He also represents clients in matters of unlawful processing of personal data by third parties.
In the area of commercial and distribution law, Benjamin Krahmer drafts, reviews and negotiates general terms and conditions and contracts, in particular for manufacturers and traders (e.g. purchase and supply contracts, as well as licence and distribution agreements). He also represents clients in and out of court in matters of contract law, for example in questions of warranty rights, termination of contracts, (post-contractual) non-competition clauses, damages or the claim for compensation under commercial law.
In addition, Benjamin Krahmer supports our clients in the area of IT law – in particular in the drafting of contracts – and in data protection law.
