I advise companies and individuals on all issues in the area of press and publicity law. This includes the enforcement of claims against publications in print and telemedia, as well as in broadcasting to protect personal rights. In particular, the high level of interconnectedness and reproducibility of information on the internet pose special challenges to effective protection of reputation. To this end, my special commitment to our clients includes the short-term assertion of injunctive relief and counterstatement claims.
For publishers and media organisations, I develop targeted and pragmatic solutions to ensure the protection of their interests, and represent them in the efficient defence against unjustified claims.
Another focus of my work is advising clients in the area of copyright law, in particular advising and representing photographers in the enforcement of image rights in cross-border situations.
In addition, I advise medium-sized companies in the field of intellectual property law on the prosecution and defence of claims under trade mark and competition law.
